WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO//

It has been a while since I have made a post but I have been so busy! Since it has been over a month I have decided to blog about what I have been up to.
This past month and a half has been very busy for me. I have been busy packing, searching for a new job, spending time with my dog, family and boyfriend. I have just recently moved back to Pennsylvania, where I will be going to school and getting the ball rolling for my 22 year old self.
This past week I have been spending every waking moment with my handsome boyfriend who is living in NC for work and school. We have been trying to pack as much fun into a week as money and time would allow for.
To start the week off we went to Skate and Surf Festival in New Jersey where a few of our favorite bands played. The Front Bottoms did astounding as did The Gaslight Anthem. Aside from those two sets my favorite part was relaxing in the grass listening to Manchester Orchestra and watching the sunset. It was a perfect weekend full of wonderful artists and food vendors.
We did some (very small amount) hiking and I captured this picture of this breathtaking view.

Just this past weekend we took a day trip to Philly and adored the street art and bustling city streets. We spent our day drinking at all of the city's bars we have heard great things about. We ended our night with the greatest cheesesteak in the world.
All the days in between that we spent watching Hulu, playing Xbox, visiting the dog park and seeing friends that we haven't had the chance to see for a while.
I hope to post more now that I am back in the beautiful but boring Pennsylvania.

|Happy Memorial Day! Being the girlfriend of a marine (who just EASed) I value the meaning of this day so much and I hope that you do too.|

F21 & ULTA HAUL//

For my birthday my mom usually sends me money in the form of a Visa gift card. Since that can't be used on bills (even though it is 2015), I decided to go shopping. I got a couple of cute clothing items and picked up some beauty essentials for this poor 22 year old.

Forever 21//

I picked up these super cute stretchy print shorts that I have been eying every time I walk through the store. They're so comfortable and flowy, which will be perfect for the hot and humid summers here in North Carolina.
I also got these high waisted black shorts (a staple in every girl's closet). I (tried to) promise myself that I wouldn't buy anything black this summer, since that's the main shade of clothing that I own BUT I caved when I saw them.
This cute cream colored tank I picked up went perfectly with both pairs of shorts. Choosing an outfit in stores helps make sure I have something to match with the clothing I pick out. I can't tell you how many times I have bought the cutest printed shorts and find I have nothing to match with them at home. That only results in lonely, never worn clothes in the back of my closet.

I've been crushing on rose gold and gold jewelry lately, and I'm also a lush for geometric shapes. This necklace was so cute I could not resist making it mine. ^^ Usually I try and stay away from necklaces because they tend to get stuck around my chest dermal but if I pair this beauty with a higher cut top, it shouldn't cause any issues.

I went in searching for an eyeshadow primer and a heat protecting spray for my hair and of course I came out with more than just those two items. Not Your Mother's brand was on sale for BOGO 50% off, so what a perfect chance to pick up the dry shampoo I've been meaning to try! I have never used this brand before but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Then onto searching for an eyeshadow primer; NYX has never failed me before, so instead of spending an easy $20 on Urban Decay as usual, I decided to give them a chance. Finally I was on my way out the door when I saw Boi-ing by Benefit cosmetics and talked myself into needing a new under eye concealer so that I could try it. From reading other reviews on it, it looks to be a marvelous product, but I have yet to try it out myself.

I'm happy with my little haul and I hope you enjoyed reading about it! Please feel free to follow me on other social media to get to know more about me. ^^

MEET MY FURRY FRIEND//

My dog is one of the most important parts of my life, and this will be the first of (possibly) many posts about my adorable dog. If you follow me on Instagram or any social media you know that mostly all I post are pictures of her. Although this is a Youtube oriented tag, I'm going to be blogging about it instead of making a video of it.
1) What is your pet’s name?
Luna (Del Rey). We really named her after Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter because she was odd and we loved it.
2) What kind of pet is it and what breed?
She's a gorgeous red Siberian Husky.
3) How long have you had your pet friend?
Almost 7 months.

4) How did you get your pet?
After a few dozen visits to the pet store and coming so close to bringing every dog home, my boyfriend and I went in one day and finally fell in love with this fluffy little ham of a puppy and we knew from that moment we could not leave her behind.
5) How old is your pet?
She is 10 months old.

6) What are some quirky things about your pet’s personality?
She's a huge diva and will huff and puff until she gets her way, but she's so cute that we can never get mad at her for it. Sometimes she forgets how big she is and loves to jump on the back of the couch like a cat. She's so odd and I wouldn't have it any other way.
7) What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
Everything. I've spent a lot of time alone due to my boyfriend's line of work. Having her around makes life interesting and gives me a daily reason to smile.
8) What are some of your favorite past times with your pet?
I love playing in water with her during the hotter times of the year. She loves getting wet and takes every chance she does to be wet and messy (even if it means splashing water out of her water bowl).
9) What are the nicknames that you call your pet?
Looney tunes, Loon, Honeys.
Sometimes she forgets how to dog and that makes me feel better about sometimes forgetting how to be an adult.

INTRODUCTION//

My name is Angie, and I currently reside on the sometimes sunny east coast.
I love breakfast for dinner and burritos from this quaint shop back in PA.
This is my blog dedicated to all things, well, me. I plan on filling this page with DIY ideas, makeup reviews, hauls, what it's like to be 22 and pretending to be an adult, and probably way too many posts about my dog.
Feel free to follow me on all of my social media because I love new friends <3
